Theory Test

If you are a learner driver you must take and pass your theory test before you book your practical test. The DSA theory test consists of a multiple choice section and a hazard perception test. The multiple choice section consists of 50 questions and you will need to answer at least 43 correctly in order to pass. This section is using a touch screen computer for your selection. In the hazard perception test you will see 14 clips and use a computer mouse to click as early as possible when you see a hazard developing.

There is a maximum score of 5 marks for each clip giving a possible total of 75. You must score at least 44 in order to pass. You need to be successful in both parts of the test to pass overall. If you fail one part of the test you will have to retake both parts at your next attempt.
